Hospitality flooring is the mix of broadloom carpet, luxury vinyl, timber and safety flooring installed across hotel rooms, corridors, lobbies, function rooms, bars, restaurants and back-of-house kitchens. Premrest Flooring installs hospitality flooring for hotel operators, venue owners, restaurant groups and their head contractors across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, staged around trading and guest occupancy.
Hospitality venues trade seven days and sell atmosphere. The floor is part of the design, so pattern-matched broadloom, feature timber and large-format LVT need to be installed to a finish the designer signed off on. At the same time, kitchens and bar back-of-house need slip-rated, cleanable floors, and everything has to happen around guests, functions and service.

Design-led finishes
Pattern-matched broadloom, custom Axminster and feature timber demand precise setting out and seam placement.
Wet and greasy back-of-house
Kitchens, bar backs and cool-room approaches need slip-rated safety flooring with welded seams and coved skirtings.
Acoustics and comfort
Corridors and guest rooms rely on carpet and underlay for acoustic separation and comfort underfoot.

Can you refurbish hospitality flooring while the venue keeps trading?
Yes. Bars, restaurants and function rooms are refit between services or overnight, and hotel floors are taken out of inventory one floor at a time so the venue keeps trading.
What flooring is best for commercial kitchens and bar backs?
Slip-rated welded sheet vinyl with coved skirtings, selected to the slip classification the area requires and installed over a prepared, moisture-tested slab.
Do you install pattern-matched broadloom and Axminster?
Yes. Seam plans and pattern setting out are confirmed with the designer before cutting, and installation is carried out by installers experienced in premium broadloom.
How much does hospitality flooring cost?
LVT supply and install typically ranges from $90 to $170 per square metre and welded sheet vinyl from $85 to $180 per square metre. Broadloom and custom carpet are priced per project against the specified product. Subfloor preparation is priced separately.
