Retail Rollout Flooring

What it is

Retail rollout flooring is the site-by-site delivery of a repeatable flooring specification across a national portfolio of stores, branches or service centres. Premrest Flooring delivers retail and bank branch rollout programs across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and nationally, holding a consistent spec, finish and reporting standard on every site.

Who it's for

Built for programs, not one-offs

  • National retail property teams rolling out a refreshed store format
  • Bank property leads programming branch refits across a portfolio
  • Government agencies refreshing service centres to a common specification
  • Head contractors delivering multi-site programs on behalf of retailers
  • Franchise property teams coordinating store openings
How we deliver it

Our process

Program spec pack

We work with the retail property team to lock a repeatable specification: product, adhesive, prep, install detail, protection and handover.

Site scheduling

Sites are batched by geography and trading window into a rolling program. Store or branch managers get a single dated slot rather than a rolling estimate.

Consistent install

Same crews and same install method every time. A store in Perth completes to the same finish as a store in Parramatta.

Program reporting

Site completion status, photos, waste diversion and product batch data reported through the program in a single dashboard for the property team.

Multi-site programs delivered to a single specification

The value of a retail rollout is consistency. A customer walking into a store in Adelaide should see the same floor as a customer in Newcastle. We hold a locked specification for each program, verify product batches on arrival, and deliver the same install method every time. Where the specification changes mid-program, we roll the change through documentation before it goes to site.

Bank branch experience

Recurring bank-branch programs are one of our core delivery types. Branches are typically refit after-hours and on weekends so the branch trades Monday to Friday, with a locked flooring specification covering carpet tile in the workspace, LVT in the teller line, safety flooring in back-of-house and coordinated skirtings and thresholds. We work to bank base-build and refurbishment specifications.

Government service centres

Government service centres from state licensing offices to public-facing agency counters share a common problem: they cannot close for a floor replacement. We deliver these programs after-hours, restore public access in the morning, and log waste diversion and product data for the department's own reporting.

Reporting the program back to the property team

For every program we run a shared reporting view: site name, status, completion photos, waste diversion tonnes, product batch and adhesive lot. The property team can see at a glance which sites are complete, which are scheduled, and where the program stands against plan.

FAQs

Common questions

How do you keep the finish consistent across a national program?

A locked specification, the same install method on every site and the same crews wherever practical. Product batches are verified on arrival at each site so the finish reads as a single program rather than a series of one-off installs.

Can you deliver rollouts outside Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane?

Yes. National rollout programs are delivered across Australia through in-house teams in our three primary cities and a subcontractor network for regional and interstate sites, all working to the program specification.

How is a rollout program priced?

Rollouts are typically priced as a rate per site or per square metre against the locked specification, with prep priced separately as a variable line based on slab condition. This gives the property team a predictable cost per store or per branch.

Do you handle store trading windows and after-hours access?

Yes. We coordinate directly with store or branch management for after-hours access, and with the head contractor or building manager where the site sits inside a shopping centre or commercial tower.
