FAQs

Carpet Tiles Brisbane

How much do carpet tiles cost in Brisbane?

As a guide, supply and install of commercial carpet tile in Brisbane ranges from $65 to $130 per square metre. The range covers entry-level 500 x 500 mm tile through to premium plank tile from Interface, Shaw Contract and Milliken. Ranges exclude subfloor preparation, which is priced separately after moisture and flatness testing.

Can you install carpet tiles in an occupied office?

Yes. Modular carpet tile is designed for it. We stage the work after-hours or on weekends, lift furniture in sections, install tile, protect trade paths and hand back the space before Monday. Most metropolitan office refurbishments we deliver run this way.

Which carpet tile brands do you install?

We install to whatever product schedule the specifier has issued. In practice we install Interface, Milliken, Shaw Contract, Modulyss, Ontera, Signature Floors, EC Group, GH Commercial and Tarkett Desso across our commercial programs, and we verify dye-lots and batch numbers on arrival.

How long does a typical floor plate take?

A single 1,000 to 1,500 square metre Brisbane floor plate is usually complete over one weekend once furniture lift and access are coordinated. Multi-level programs are scheduled floor by floor to match your handover dates.

Do you handle disposal of the old carpet tile?

Yes. Uplifted tile is sorted for reuse where a pathway exists, otherwise diverted to Interface ReEntry or an equivalent recycling partner. Every project receives a written waste diversion report you can pass into your ESG or Green Star submission.

What is the difference between carpet tile and broadloom?

Carpet tile is modular, replaceable tile by tile and easier to install around workstations. Broadloom is a rolled product used in boardrooms, hotel suites and premium environments where the seamless look matters more than replaceability.

Does Brisbane humidity affect carpet tile installation?

It affects the adhesive cure and the slab moisture reading, not the tile itself. We test slab moisture to AS 1884 on every Brisbane project and, in the wet season, allow additional cure time or specify a moisture-tolerant pressure-sensitive adhesive so tiles sit flat and warranty conditions hold.

Can you install in Brisbane CBD towers with restricted after-hours access?

Yes. We book goods lifts and dock windows through building management for towers across the CBD, Fortitude Valley and Newstead, and stage installs Friday evening through Sunday so tenancies hand back before Monday trade.

Do you deliver programs beyond metropolitan Brisbane?

Yes. Our Brisbane base covers Ipswich, Logan, Springfield, Redcliffe and North Lakes as standard, and we deliver retail and government rollouts into the Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast on the same specification.
